The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has recently launched a WhatsApp line to support students with disabilities and their families.
The initiative is part of the ministry’s efforts to promote accessibility and inclusivity in the state’s educational system. In 2021, the ministry ordered all schools across the country to allocate ground floors of their buildings to students, teachers and administrators with disabilities, and create spaces for them to study and work.
