Power Cuts to Resume Across Egypt Starting April 15th
After a pause during Ramadan, power cuts will last a maximum of one hour per grid zone between 11 AM and 5 PM.

The National Control Centre for the Electrical Network has announced that scheduled power cuts will resume across Egypt on April 15th, with cuts lasting a maximum of one hour per grid zone between 11 AM and 5 PM. The cuts in electricity were paused for the holy month of Ramadan as well as Eid.
The Ministry of Electricity has confirmed that, since no new amendments to the load reduction plan have been issued, the power cut plan will continue indefinitely, and is expected to last until at least the end of summer due to increased grid demand during the hotter months.
