Bader Shahit & Alsharqi Reimagine Dabke on 'Bab Hadid'

Belgium-based Syrian/Libyan artist Bader Shahit collaborates with Syrian producer and rapper Alsharqi on a new high-energy BPM single ‘Bab Hadid’, an ode to Palestinian cultural heritage.

Mixed by DJ and producer 5amaseen, ‘Bab Hadid’ reimagines the sound of Palestinian Dabke, through thumping breaks and hard-hitting grooves with heavy basslines. 

Growing up imbued with Libyan tagaza majrouda rhythms and Syrian classic music, Bader has built himself a distinctive musical identity, merging contemporary club music, and heavy bass patterns with musical heritage from the MENA region.
