Summer Operating Hours for Stores & Restaurants Begin April 26th
The extended summer hours for a variety of businesses will be in effect until the last Thursday of September.
Summer operating hours for a variety of businesses will begin on April 26th, and will be extended for an extra hour compared to winter operating hours. The extended hours will run until the last Thursday of September this year. Under the new hours, commercial shops and malls will be open from 7 AM to 11 PM, or 7 AM to midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and public holidays.
As for restaurants, cafes, and bazaars, opening hours will be from 5 AM to 1 AM. Grocery shops, supermarkets, and bakeries are excluded from the change in opening hours. Meanwhile, mechanics and other workshops will operate from 8 AM to 7 PM, with an exception for those located at petrol stations.
