Award-Winning Photographers Hold Street Photography Talk in Alexandria
For anyone who’s seen a photo of everyday life and thought “Hey, I could do that” – and then realized they couldn’t.
Ever thought you’d love to elevate your street photography skills as you wander through the historic buildings of Alexandria? This Saturday, March 2nd, join award-winning photographers Ahmed Flex, Youssef Hany and Fares Elsayed for a film screening and photojournalism workshop with local photo and video school Photographers Shoots.
In this photography talk, expect to learn the definition of street photography, approaches for developing a unique artistic style and perspective, solutions to common problems that street photographers face, techniques for capturing moments in everyday life, as well as tips for making people feel comfortable while you are filming on the street. This workshop runs from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and will be held at 13 Mustafa Ismail Street, Al-Azarita, Al-Safwa Tower, Midway Academy in Alexandria.
