Four-Year Plan Approved to Develop Galala City on Red Sea
The development includes coastal towers, marinas and infrastructure upgrades as part of wider Red Sea expansion.
A four-year development plan has been approved to advance Galala City as an integrated hub for tourism, trade and economic activity along Egypt’s eastern coastline.
The plan was reviewed during a meeting with senior military and executive officials, with approval granted for the implementation framework of the second phase of the Mont Galala project in partnership with the private sector.
The programme includes the construction of residential and tourism towers along the coast, alongside hotels and a service marina supported by economic, medical and educational facilities.
Floating marinas are also planned as part of efforts to attract international companies and position the area as a centre for maritime services and trade. Additional directives include upgrades to the Ain Sokhna–Zaafarana road to improve safety and reduce traffic accidents, as well as the development of an integrated residential zone for workers, incorporating housing, schools and essential services.
