Cloudera to Expand into Saudi With 2026 Office Launch

Cloudera has announced that it will establish on-the-ground presence in Saudi Arabia, with an office set to launch in early 2026. The move follows more than six years of supporting Saudi customers across telecoms, financial services, oil and gas, and government.

The entity, called Cloudera Arabia, will provide customers with a local base, direct access to staff, and compliance with national regulations. The company stated that operating locally will enhance its ability to meet requirements around data sovereignty, governance, and traceability.

Cloudera’s platform is designed to run wherever data is stored, from cloud to on-premises, giving organisations flexibility over workloads and spend. Establishing a registered presence strengthens its position with enterprise and government clients while signalling a long-term commitment to the Kingdom in line with Vision 2030.
