Moroccan Tech Startup Nucleon Security Raises USD 3.5 Million
Founded in 2019 by Anas Chanaa, Nucleon Security develops agentic AI-powered, Zero Trust cybersecurity solutions that deliver continuous, proactive, and automated threat detection and response.

Nucleon Security, a Morocco-and France-based cybersecurity startup, has raised USD 3.5 million (EUR 3 million) in a funding round led by NewFund Capital, with participation from 212Founders, LoftyInc Capital, Orange Ventures, and Axian Group.
Founded in 2019 by Anas Chanaa, Nucleon Security develops agentic AI-powered, Zero Trust cybersecurity solutions that deliver continuous, proactive, and automated threat detection and response. Its technology adapts to the unique context of each organisation and is already deployed by over 100 clients worldwide.
The fresh capital will support the industrialisation of its platform and fuel geographic expansion across Africa, with a focus on Morocco, Tunisia, Benin, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, and Madagascar. The company also aims to build an African cybersecurity ecosystem, fostering knowledge exchange and developing locally designed solutions that can be exported to global markets.
With the global cost of cybercrime projected to reach USD 10.5 trillion by 2025 and a shortfall of nearly 4 million cybersecurity professionals worldwide, Nucleon Security aims to bridge this gap.
