The Tasweer Photo Festival, hosted by Qatar Museums Authority, has issued an open call to photographers residing in Western Asia and North Africa to submit their photos and photographic projects for their 2026 competition.

There are two categories in the competition: the Tasweer Single Image Award with a prize of QAR 2,000, and the Tasweer Project Award with a prize of QAR 30,000. Awardees of the latter will also get the opportunity to exhibit their work in the 4th edition of Tatweer Photo Festival's exhibition in Qatar in 2027, and received mentorship and other opportunities in Tatweer's community of photographers.

While there is no overarching theme for this year's awards, the organizers are invited to submit works that best represent their experience and personal narrative.

The deadline for submissions is May 14th.
