Saudi filmmaker Wael Abu Mansour has been announced as a juror for the Best Arab Film Award at the 46th Cairo International Film Festival, taking place from November 12th to 21st, 2025. He joins Egyptian filmmaker Karim El Shennawy and Jordanian producer Rula Nasser on the jury. Based in
Jeddah, Abu Mansour is known for his bold storytelling that delves into identity, faith, and the complexities of modern Saudi life. His recent works include Saify (2024), which he directed, and Night Courier (2023), where he served as screenwriter and executive producer.
