Culinary Arts Commission Launches Vocational Training Programme
The Riyadh programme will prepare Saudi talent for culinary careers through practical training aligned with employers’ needs.
The Culinary Arts Commission launched its Culinary Arts Vocational Training Programme in Riyadh on September 30th, 2026, with a focus on preparing Saudi talent for careers across the culinary sector.
The programme is designed to improve professional readiness by developing participants’ technical and behavioural skills while aligning training outcomes with employers’ needs.
According to the commission, the initiative is intended to support nationalisation targets by preparing a qualified workforce for culinary roles and connecting highly qualified Saudi talent with relevant employers. It targets individuals seeking careers in culinary fields, with practical training aimed at strengthening job-market readiness.
The programme includes four training pathways, including Food Production, which develops food preparation and production skills for professional environments, and Food and Beverage Services, which focuses on service delivery and customer interaction in line with hospitality standards.
