Madinah Bus Network Expands to 16 Routes & 476 Stops

The Madinah Buses public transport network is expanding to 16 routes and 476 stops from October 1st, 2026, with a new route, additional stops and more daily trips on existing services.

Supervised by the Madinah Region Development Authority, the network connects residential neighbourhoods with key destinations and services across the city.

Routes provide direct transport options between the Prophet’s Mosque, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and the Haramain High Speed Railway, alongside mosques, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and other service destinations.

The latest expansion is intended to increase the number of connections available between routes and make it easier for passengers to travel between different parts of Madinah.

The network uses integrated access points to link religious landmarks, major services and residential areas, providing passengers with a wider range of public transport options across the city.
