Zawya Cinema Brings Back ‘El Hassa Al Sabea’ for One-Night Screening

Downtown Cairo’s Zawya Cinema is bringing back 'El Hassa Al Sabea' on Wednesday, August 6th, for a one-night screening.

Directed by Ahmed Makki in one of his earliest full-length projects, the plot follows a gym teacher with aspirations of becoming a kung fu master, whose life takes an unexpected turn after a mysterious man grants him the ability to read minds. Ahmed El Fishawy stars in one of his earliest comedic performances, bringing an awkward charm to a film that navigates Cairo’s more eccentric corners.
