eFootball, developed by Konami, is a football simulation video game. Competitive play in the title is typically dominated by male players. Al Mazrou advanced through the competition undefeated, closing the tournament with a 3-0 victory in the final against Thailand’s Supawadee.
The Asian Youth Games are held every four years under the Olympic Council of Asia, bringing together athletes aged 14 to 17 to compete in both physical and digital sports.
Over the past few years, Saudi Arabia has made significant strides in promoting female participation across the gaming and esports sectors. Through initiatives led by the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) and national programmes such as Gamers Without Borders and Next World Forum, the Kingdom has provided training, sponsorship opportunities, and international exposure for female gamers.
