More Than 32 Million Tourists Travelled in Saudi Over the Summer
Launched in June under the 'Colour Your Summer' campaign, the season promoted six destinations and featured events including the Esports World Cup, Jeddah Season and Aseer Season.

Saudi Arabia recorded a new milestone for its Saudi Summer programme, welcoming over 32 million domestic and international tourists during the 2025 season, a 26% increase from summer 2024, according to the Ministry of Tourism. Visitor spending totalled USD 14.2 billion, up 15% year-on-year.
The Ministry of Tourism's 'Colour Your Summer' campaign promoted six destinations, including Jeddah, the Red Sea, Taif, Al-Baha, and Aseer, highlighting coastal escapes, mountain retreats, cultural events, and entertainment experiences. Highlights on the summer calendar included the Esports World Cup, Jeddah Season, and Aseer Season, which attracted global visitors with concerts, shows, and sporting events. The Aseer Region recorded a 49% rise in arrivals from Gulf Cooperation Council countries compared to the previous summer.
According to the ministry, preparations are underway for the launch of the Winter season, which will feature global events and new tourism products.
