El Gouna Film Festival & Netflix to Launch Writers’ Workshop

El Gouna Film Festival is partnering with Netflix to launch a three-day writers’ workshop titled ‘Ever After: Developing a Series’ during the festival’s eighth edition in October 2025. The workshop will be led by Leonard Dick, an Emmy Award-winning writer whose credits include work on notable television productions such as 'Lost', 'House' and 'The Good Wife'. Designed to bring together experienced screenwriters, producers, and directors from the region, the programme will focus on the collaborative development of a fictional drama series. The workshop aims to foster creativity and establish connections between regional talent and global industry figures.
