Egyptian actress and writer Rosaline Elbay is set to return for the fourth season of Netflix’s award-winning political drama The Diplomat.
The series, which premiered its third season on October 16th to a 92% Rotten Tomatoes score, continues to draw acclaim for its sharp writing and powerhouse performances.
Elbay joined the ensemble midway through season two as Nora Koriem, a sharp-witted political operative and Chief of Staff to the Vice President. She stars alongside Keri Russell, Rufus Sewell, Alison Janney, Rory Kinnear, Nana Mensah, and Bradley Whitford.
Before The Diplomat, Elbay gained international recognition for her breakout role as Aida in Netflix’s Kaleidoscope (2023), the genre-bending heist series, and for her performance in Hulu’s Ramy (2019) as Amani. SHe also starredin Egyptian series ‘Qabeel’ (2019).
Season four of The Diplomat has just begun filming in New York City.
