Eight-Day New Year’s Eve Celebrations Will Take Over Downtown Dubai
Synchronised shows will span Burj Khalifa lake the Dubai Mall promenade and the full tower façade from December 31st to January 7th, with a grand parade through Downtown.
New Year’s Eve celebrations in Downtown Dubai will run for eight days for the first time, beginning on December 31st and continuing to January 7th. According to Emaar, this year’s edition will turn Downtown Dubai into a multi-point stage, with synchronised shows across the Burj Khalifa lake, the Dubai Mall promenade and the tower’s full façade. The production will feature live acts, visual spectacles, moving platforms, aerial feats, fireworks and cutting edge tech. A grand parade will weave through Downtown Dubai with larger-than-life floats, performers and puppets. The full performance line-up remains under wraps for now. While access across the wider Downtown area remains free, front-row access at Burj Park with views of the fireworks, light and laser shows and live performances will be ticketed. Tickets are on sale on the official event website and must be purchased online in advance, priced at AED 997.5 for adults and AED 577.5 for children aged 5 to 12, with under 5 admitted free with a reserved access badge.
