EgyptAir Named World’s Most Improved Airline for 2026
EgyptAir ranked first in Skytrax’s 2026 World’s Most Improved Airlines list, ahead of Air India and Royal Jordanian.
EgyptAir has been named the World’s Most Improved Airline at the 2026 World Airline Awards, topping the global ranking ahead of Air India in second place and Royal Jordanian Airlines in third.
The Skytrax category measures how much an airline has improved over the past year, combining changes in its overall global rating with gains across individual award categories.
EgyptAir also ranked first in Africa. Other regional winners included Air India in Asia, LEVEL in Europe, Royal Jordanian Airlines in the Middle East and American Airlines in North America.
American Airlines also placed fourth globally, followed by Sun PhuQuoc Airways, Air India Express, Uzbekistan Airways, LEVEL, Akasa Air and T’way Airlines.
The World Airline Awards are based on Skytrax’s annual global passenger satisfaction survey, which assesses airline performance across the customer journey.
