Saudi Pop Star Mishaal Tamer Rocked HINDAMME at Riyadh Fashion Week
Mishaal Tamer was spotted in HINDAMME x Mansoojat’s Hejaz Collection, merging traditional beading with contemporary design.
During Riyadh Fashion Week, Saudi musician Mishaal Tamer walked in HINDAMME’s Hejaz Collection: a black kaftan with an antique Bani Saad tribal collar in silver beading, styled with black vinyl trousers.
The collar is the key detail. It’s based on an original heirloom from the Bani Saad tribe in Al-Hejaz, reworked through a collaboration between HINDAMME and Mansoojat Heritage. The Mansoojat Foundation, founded by Saudi women and dedicated to researching and preserving traditional dress from across the Kingdom, has spent years documenting pieces like this: beadwork, embroidery, and silhouettes that speak to specific regions and histories. Normally, those details sit in archives. Here, they’re presented as part of a contemporary menswear moment.
That balance is central to HINDAMME. Led by Saudi designer Mohammed Khoja, the label takes its name from an old Arabic word for refinement and harmony, and consistently merges regional codes with a polished, international point of view. This year's Hejaz Collection featured traditional motifs and Arabic lettering throughout monochrome maxi dresses and silk button-ups.
In one look you get the full picture: Mansoojat preserving heritage, HINDAMME translating it for the present, and Mishaal wearing it as part of the young creatives shaping the future of Saudi.
