Egypt Amongst 7 Countries Now Eligible for Saudi's New Visa Package
This pilot initiative grants a Saudi tourist visa within 48 hours without needing a separate application or embassy visit.
Saudi Arabia has introduced a new Package Visa, a pilot initiative that grants a Saudi tourist visa within 48 hours as part of an approved travel package booked through qualified travel and tourism agencies. The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has now announced the first seven countries eligible for this programme: Egypt, Jordan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Mexico and Indonesia. More countries are planned to be added soon.
This bundle brings together flights, licensed accommodation, and electronic visa issuance in one integrated booking experience, with visa issued electronically without the need to visit an embassy or submit a separate application. The single-entry visa is valid for three months, permitting stays between two and 88 days, while the minimum package price is set at SAR 4,000 per adult for the first two days (with an additional SAR 1,000 for each consecutive day).
