‘Rafeeq’ Digital Platform Introduced for Egypt’s Hajj Pilgrims

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has launched Rafeeq, an official digital platform designed for Egyptian pilgrims travelling through tourism companies during Hajj 1447H/2026. According to the ministry, the platform targets approximately 40,713 pilgrims registered through tourism companies this season, alongside company supervisors and members of the official tourism Hajj mission.

According to the ministry, the platform is intended to create a unified and secure digital environment for tourism pilgrims while improving field supervision, emergency response coordination, communication systems, and reporting efficiency. The app uses role-based interfaces tailored to each category of user.

Pilgrims can connect directly with their tourism company and relevant authorities, submit requests related to travel bags and cards, report emergency health situations, access fatwas and awareness materials, evaluate services, and file complaints with live tracking features.

For company supervisors, the platform supports direct handling and resolution of pilgrims’ complaints, while official mission members can monitor programme compliance, oversee supervisors, process complaints, and submit daily administrative reports supported by real-time operational data.

The ministry urged all tourism pilgrims travelling for Hajj to download the application and complete registration before departure, stating that the platform also helps document programme delivery and formally record complaints or service issues for follow-up.

Rafeeq is available free of charge on Android through Google Play and on iOS through App Store, with an Arabic-language interface.
