Etihad Rail Launches New National Rail Safety Campaign
The campaign will extend through schools, communities and government partnerships as passenger rail becomes part of daily travel.
Etihad Rail has launched a new phase of its national rail safety campaign following the start of passenger services, encouraging passengers and communities to follow safety guidance as rail travel becomes more widely used.
The campaign includes a public awareness video centred on everyday behaviour that can make journeys safer and more comfortable. Etihad Rail said individual actions, from following instructions to being considerate of other passengers, form part of maintaining safe operations across the network.
Etihad Rail Mobility Executive Director of Commercial and Support Adhraa Almansoori said building a safety culture is becoming increasingly important as passenger rail becomes part of everyday travel. She added that responsibility for railway safety extends beyond the operator to passengers and communities.
The campaign will also expand through school programmes, community activities and partnerships with government entities, educational institutions and other organisations. Etihad Rail said the wider outreach will also target people living and working near railway infrastructure, with the aim of establishing consistent safety practices across the network.
