Three New Bus Routes Connect Sharjah Areas to Etihad Rail Station
The ER1, ER2 and ER3 services link Al Madam, Al Sajaa and Sharjah with the Etihad Rail passenger station in Al Dhaid.
Three new public bus routes now connect Al Madam, Al Sajaa and Sharjah with the Etihad Rail passenger station in Al Dhaid, according to the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.
The services are designated ER1 from Al Madam, ER2 from Al Sajaa and ER3 from Sharjah, with all three routes terminating at the Al Dhaid station.
The authority said the new routes are intended to make it easier for passengers to transfer between bus and rail services and provide another option for reaching the national passenger network.
Al Dhaid joined the UAE’s passenger rail network on September 30th, becoming Sharjah’s first Etihad Rail station and linking the emirate with Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.
