Al-Ronq Walkway is Al Baha’s New Spot for Strolling & Shopping

Al Baha has a new place to stretch your legs and browse a few local stalls while you’re at it.
The 136-metre Al-Ronq Walkway has been completed in Bani Hasan, combining pedestrian paths with decorative lighting and a row of kiosks intended for local businesses and services.
The route is paved with interlock tiles and incorporates design details inspired by the region’s architectural and heritage character, giving the space more of a local identity than a standard pedestrian strip.
The municipality says the walkway is designed to encourage both walking and casual shopping, while creating room for families and entrepreneurs to run small businesses along the route.
The project is part of wider efforts to make public spaces across Saudi Arabia more usable, social and commercially active.
