UAE National Cycling Team Wins 17 Medals at Arab Championship
Abdullah Jassim won the elite men’s road race after taking the individual time trial earlier, while the senior team topped the overall standings ahead of Iraq and Jordan.

The UAE national cycling team concluded its participation in the Arab Cycling Championship in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, with a total of 17 medals. The tally comprised 11 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze across the championship’s events.
On the final day, Abdullah Jassim won the elite men’s road race, adding to his earlier victory in the individual time trial to complete a double at the championship. His teammate Ahmed Al Mansoori finished third in the same race to take the bronze medal.
In the junior category, Maadhed Al Mashghouni won gold in the road race. The junior team also took the silver medal in the team classification for the junior road race.
At the team level, the UAE senior team topped the overall team standings, finishing ahead of Iraq and Jordan. The medals were won in the elite men’s road race, the individual time trial, the junior road race, and the junior team classification.
