Snapchat Launches Local Bitmoji Wardrobe for Saudi National Day
Snapchat’s first country-specific Bitmoji wardrobe, released ahead of Saudi National Day, includes abayas and thobes.

Snapchat is launching a localised Bitmoji wardrobe ahead of Saudi National Day, adding options such as abayas and thobes. The company said this is the first time Snapchat has released a country-specific Bitmoji wardrobe anywhere in the world.
The platform previously introduced local attire through augmented reality lenses, but this marks the first dedicated Bitmoji wardrobe. The new wardrobe allows users in Saudi Arabia to dress their Bitmojis in clothing that reflects the Kingdom’s culture and heritage.
The launch is part of the company's regional plans, with further localised features in the pipeline. Last year, Snap opened a new office and the Kingdom’s first creator hub, Majlis Snap for Content Creators, in Diriyah’s JAX District, near Riyadh.
Globally, users have created more than 2.7 billion Bitmojis, according to Snap. In Saudi Arabia, the platform reports 25 million monthly active users who open the app more than 50 times a day on average.
