Sign Language Specialists Hired in Egypt's LRT Stations

RATP Dev Mobility Cairo, the operator of Egypt’s LRT (Light Rail Transit) and Metro Line 3, has announced the inclusion of hard of hearing employees across LRT stations to assist passengers with hearing difficulties.

The new team members will be present on platforms to directly support commuters, making the system more accessible for those with hearing impairments.

The move is part of the company’s broader strategy to promote inclusion and workplace diversity. Work environments have been adapted, and the staff was trained to ensure the new employees are fully supported and empowered in their new roles.
