WHO Designates Riyadh Health Command Centre as Collaborating Centre
Riyadh’s National Health Command and Control Center will collaborate with WHO on health systems and data initiatives.
The National Health Command and Control Center in Riyadh has been designated a collaborating centre by the World Health Organization.
Affiliated with the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, the centre will hold the designation for four years, from 2026 to 2030.
Under a joint work plan with the WHO, the centre will contribute to capacity building, the development of health information systems and the expanded use of data in decision-making. The collaboration will also support knowledge exchange, health policy development and the strengthening of early warning systems at both regional and global levels.
The centre’s operations include 17 command centres, nine specialised committees and more than 500 dashboards, alongside six published studies and 37 health policies.
