Etihad Airways Suspends All Commercial Flights Until March 5th
Some repositioning, cargo and repatriation flights may operate in coordination with UAE authorities.
Etihad Airways said in an official statement that all scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi remain suspended until Thursday, March 5, UAE time, due to regional airspace disruption.
The airline also stated that “some repositioning, cargo and repatriation flights may operate in coordination with UAE authorities and subject to strict operational and safety approvals.”
The carrier advised that “guests should not travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad and advised to do so,” noting that airport access would be restricted to passengers with confirmed travel documentation.
“Safety remains our absolute priority, and services will operate only once all safety criteria are met,” the airline said.
