Logistics Startup Colis Opens First International Agency in Brussels
The Morocco-based logistics startup establishes its first European foothold after delivering 55,000 parcels.
Morocco-based cross-border logistics startup Colis has opened its first international logistics agency in Brussels, marking its initial physical presence in Europe.
Founded in 2022 by Issam Darui, the company enables individuals and businesses to send and receive parcels between Morocco and six European countries. Over the past two years, Colis has delivered more than 55,000 parcels.
The Brussels agency allows the company to combine partner locations with its own infrastructure, increasing operational control while aiming to improve service quality and delivery speed. The move establishes a direct base within the European Union rather than relying solely on third-party networks.
Colis raised $300,000 in a pre-seed funding round in October 2024 to consolidate its domestic operations and expand into West Africa. The Brussels launch represents the company’s first expansion outside the region and forms part of its broader international growth strategy.
