Dubai Land Department Launches Digital Property Sale Service

The DubaSSi Land Department launched a fully digital property sale service via the Dubai Now app, enabling buyers and sellers to complete real estate sale and registration procedures entirely online using electronic signatures through the UAE Pass app. The department said transactions can be finalised remotely at any time, with all steps conducted within unified digital channels.

Under the Digital Sale process, the sale contract is created electronically, signed by the seller and sent to the buyer through the platform. The buyer then transfers the payment to the service’s dedicated account, after which the ownership certificate is issued instantly in the buyer’s name within the application. Both the buyer and seller must hold a valid Emirates ID and an active UAE Pass account to enable verified digital signatures.

Eligible properties must be located in freehold areas, classified as residential or commercial, be free of any mortgage, and owned by a single individual. The service was unveiled during GITEX Global 2025, where the Dubai Land Department also showcased the Real Estate Instant Registration Platform, an interactive dashboard displaying real-time data on property transactions across Dubai’s districts.
