Dedicated Units for Children Rights Will Be Set Up in Dubai Courts

Dubai Courts has launched a dedicated unit to protect children’s rights during legal proceedings. The unit will provide legal, psychological, and social support to minors involved in cases, including victims, witnesses, and those in family disputes.

The initiative is part of efforts to create a more child-sensitive legal system in line with UAE law and international child protection standards. It will coordinate with relevant authorities and ensure appropriate procedures are followed when children are involved.

Officials said the move supports broader national goals related to human rights and social protection.
