270 UAE Students to Train at World-Leading Institutions This Summer
270 top students will be sent to 6 global innovation hubs for advanced training in AI, leadership, & entrepreneurship.
The UAE Ministry of Education has officially launched the 2025 Summer Abroad Programme, selecting 270 high-achieving Grade 10 and 11 students from public schools to participate in advanced training and academic immersion at world-leading institutions.
Running through July and August, the programme spans six of the world’s foremost innovation hubs—Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, and Malaysia—and offers participants a hands-on curriculum in artificial intelligence, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Students will also take part in field visits and specialised workshops designed to enhance their academic, creative, and personal development.
Students of Determination have also been included in this year’s programme, with full participation in Japan and South Korea. A team of 29 trained academic supervisors will accompany the students, ensuring an enriching and inclusive experience across all destinations.
More than just a summer trip, the programme aims to expand global knowledge networks and help students make informed career choices. By engaging directly with the world’s top research centres, participants are expected to return with new insights, skills, and aspirations that will help steer the nation’s future.
