10,000 Workers in Dubai to Receive AI Training by 2030
Dubai AI Campus and DGHR look to provide real-world training in generative AI and civil service tools.

The Dubai Government Human Resources Department has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai AI Campus, an initiative under the Dubai International Financial Centre. The agreement sets the stage for collaborative training and education efforts that focus on developing AI skills across both the public and private sectors. Over 10,000 individuals are expected to complete training programs by 2030.
The partnership introduces initiatives like the ‘AI for Civil Service’ program, which targets government employees and teaches them how to integrate generative AI tools into public services. Participants will take part in mentoring sessions, real-world projects, and career development tracks. Hands-on seminars, research-sharing platforms, and training for executives and mid-level managers are also planned.
Dubai AI Campus, the region’s largest hub for AI companies, is part of a wider push to deepen the city’s reputation as a technology centre. The agreement supports the goals outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which emphasises digital transformation and workforce development.
