Dubai World Trade Centre to Host 25th Airport Show in May 2026

Dubai World Trade Centre will host the 25th Airport Show from May 12th to 14th, 2026, with organisers expecting more than 150 exhibitors and 7,000 buyers focused on air-traffic management solutions. Now in its silver-jubilee year, the event has grown from a regional expo into a global platform for original equipment manufacturers to demonstrate technologies such as e-gates, biometrics and autonomous ground-handling vehicles increasingly adopted across Gulf hubs. Organisers said corporate travel buyers can pre-register for the Hosted Buyer programme, which offers fast-track immigration on arrival, hotel nights and behind-the-scenes tarmac tours. Exhibitor demand is running 18% above the 2025 edition. Dubai Airports is expected to share progress on the USD 33 billion Al Maktoum International expansion, including passenger-flow modelling targeting annual capacity of 150 million by 2030. Across the three days, the show will spotlight next-generation air-traffic management systems and airport-process upgrades, with a focus on operational efficiency and passenger processing. Technologies on display will include automated border-control hardware, biometric enrolment and verification, and autonomous support equipment for aprons and terminals. Organisers positioned the 2026 programme around solution demonstrations and buyer-supplier engagement aimed at current airport modernisation plans across the region.
