Egypt's Beltone Holding Launches Growth-Stage Private Equity Platform
Beltone introduces private equity arm led by Ali Mokhtar, strengthening its end-to-end investment offering alongside Beltone Venture Capital.
Beltone Holding has launched a private equity platform aimed at supporting founders as they scale from early-stage funding to pre-IPO growth, expanding its capital offering across the startup lifecycle.
The platform will complement Beltone Venture Capital and will be led by Ali Mokhtar, CEO and Managing Partner of Beltone Venture Capital.
In a statement, Beltone described the launch as the next phase in the development of its investment platform, calling it a deliberate step toward strengthening its end-to-end capital offering and reinforcing its position as a long-term investment partner to founders across the region.
The move follows Beltone Holding’s second capital increase last year, in which it raised LE 10.5 billion, bringing total paid-in capital to LE 21.4 billion. The proceeds were earmarked to fuel expansion across its platforms.
With the addition of the private equity arm, Beltone aims to provide capital solutions spanning from pre-seed investment through to later growth stages, offering continuity of funding as companies advance toward public market readiness.
