Saudi’s Squadio Raises $3M to Scale Global AI Tech-Talent Platform

Saudi-based tech talent platform Squadio has secured $3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round to expand its AI-powered remote hiring services across MENA and international markets. The round included participation from Wa’ed Ventures, 500 Sanabil MENA, Nour Nouf Ventures, SEEDRA Ventures, and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP). Founded in 2019 by Khaled Senawy, Squadio connects companies with vetted global tech talent—spanning engineers, designers, and product managers—through a scalable remote hiring model. The platform currently hosts more than 55,000 professionals from over 80 countries and has partnered with over 450 companies in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, and the United States. Squadio’s client portfolio includes major Saudi firms such as STC, Elm, Thiqah, Monsha’at, and Nupco, all of which use the platform to strengthen and scale their digital capabilities. With offices in Riyadh (HQ), Dubai, Alexandria, and Silicon Valley, Squadio aims to deepen its regional footprint and expand into fast-growing digital markets in Africa and global tech hubs. The company plans to enhance its AI-matching technology, refine operational systems, and expand its network of partner companies.
