Saudi Short Films Showcased at Venice International Film Festival
Nine Saudi short films are being screened at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival, presented by the Ministry of Culture’s Film Commission.

The 82nd Venice International Film Festival is spotlighting emerging Saudi filmmakers, with nine short films presented by the Ministry of Culture’s Film Commission at the Abbazia building in Venice, Italy.
Screening until September 6th, the line-up includes ‘Rogue’ by Samaher Mously, ‘Donkey Race’ by Mohammed Baqer, ‘Salem’s Legs’ by Talal Al-Musaad, ‘Saleh Film’ by Zaki Alabdullah, and ‘The Last Dismissal’ by Jawaher Alamri, among others.
In addition to the screenings, the Saudi Film Commission is hosting a roundtable discussion titled ‘Young Audiences and Cinemas’. The session brings together international experts to explore strategies for engaging new generations of moviegoers and reflects the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen the global presence of its film industry.
