During the Gulf War in 1991 in the town of Ramanathapuram, Karasamy, also known as Kara, struggles to defend and protect his family, who rely on him in spite of everything, while facing his forgotten history. He finds himself caught between immorality and virtue at a moral crossroads from which he cannot escape due to outside forces.
