Photo of the Week: Lina Mo
Photographer Lina Mo captures an image that goes beyond fashion, reflecting her love of movement and freedom.
Jeddah-based editorial fashion photographer Lina Mo explores the intersection of fashion, culture and storytelling, aim to capture moments that are both timeless and emotionally engaging. Guided by a narrative-driven approach, her work is rooted in movement, freedom and emotion, with each frame designed to leave a lasting impression beyond the image itself.
For this edition of 'Photo of the Week', Lina selected an image created in Jeddah in 2023 as part of the first campaign for the Red Sea International Film Festival. Featured across the festival's advertising campaign, the photograph marked a defining moment in her career and became the image she feels best represents her artistic vision.
For Lina, the photograph goes beyond its role as a campaign image. "It feels like the closest representation of who I am as a photographer," she says. "In many ways, it represents my soul and the way I see the world through the camera."
More than a portrait of a single moment, the image captures the visual language that continues to define her work: fashion photography grounded in storytelling, movement and enduring human emotion.
