Zamalek 5K Run to Support Greener Streets & Local Heritage
The September 25th community run will support the Zamalek Association for Development, with walkers and runners of all levels invited.
A 5K community run will take place at Mamsha Ahl Misr in Zamalek on September 25th in support of the Zamalek Association for Development.
The event is centred on three neighbourhood priorities: expanding green spaces, improving pedestrian safety and preserving the heritage that defines Zamalek.
Participation is open to all levels, with organisers inviting people to walk, jog or run the five-kilometre distance at their own pace rather than treating the event as a competitive race.
The run is intended to draw attention to ongoing work aimed at making the neighbourhood greener, safer and more pedestrian-friendly while protecting its architectural and cultural character.
