Vitalls Secures $1.5 Million Seed Commitment From EST Growmore

UAE-based healthtech startup Vitalls has secured a $1.5 million commitment to its seed round from Singapore-based EST Growmore, with an option for a further $1 million investment. The agreement was signed at the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit by Vitalls founder and CEO Mehdi Bouchenak and EST Group chairman Dr Sindhu Bhaskar, with EST Growmore joining the round as anchor investor.

Founded in 2023, Vitalls is developing an AI-powered digital health passport designed to let individuals and families securely store, manage and share medical records across healthcare providers and countries. The funding will support further development and rollout of the platform, with internationally mobile individuals, families and enterprises among its target users.

The company is positioning the product around the problem of fragmented medical records, particularly for people receiving care across different countries where information may be stored in different languages and formats. Under the agreement, Vitalls and EST Group will also explore distribution, product development and strategic partnerships across EST Group’s telecommunications and healthcare portfolio.

Bouchenak said the investment supports the company’s view that patient-controlled health records are becoming a more important part of cross-border healthcare, while Bhaskar said EST Group sees opportunities to support Vitalls through its wider investment network.
