Bocasu Café in Al Quoz Is Giving Dogs Free Treats Until August 15th
If your dog already insists on supervising every coffee run, this is probably their cue to start clearing their schedule.
For once, your dog's social calendar might be looking busier than yours. Bocasu, the pet-friendly Japanese café in Al Quoz, has launched a limited-time offer that puts four-legged diners firmly on the guest list.
Until August 15th, anyone arriving with a canine companion will receive 10% off the à la carte menu. The real VIP, meanwhile, gets complimentary treats and a bowl of water, delivered with promptness usually reserved for someone far more important. Throw in a bit of fussing from the staff, and it's just enough attention to convince them they're the ones picking up the bill.
Naturally, this all comes with the usual pre-lunch slightly longer walk to get there, the obligatory detour to inspect a lamppost of personal significance, and a brief pause at the door while the dog appears to assess whether the establishment meets standard.
Looks like the coffee run now comes with one compulsory plus-one. Frankly, they were coming anyway.
