Canadian superstar The Weeknd, aka Abel Tesfaye, has donated another USD 2 million to support Palestinian families with food aid in Gaza. The contribution, made through his XO Humanitarian Fund, will provide over 18 million loaves of bread by supplying 1,500 metric tons of wheat flour to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). This initiative will feed over 157,000 Palestinians for a month.
This latest donation builds on The Weeknd's previous USD 2.5 million contribution in December 2023, which provided emergency food parcels to over 173,000 people. He has also urged fans to join him in supporting those in need.
