Rap of the Week | JUNE 10 - JUNE 16

This week’s Rap of the Week brings a fresh batch of tracks from across the region, blending smooth flows, sharp production, and a range of moods.

The playlist opens with ‘Ebky’ by Moroccan alt-R&B artist Bitter Mouthfeel, a hazy, slow-burning track that lingers in heartbreak. Tunisian rapper Fares LUNN links up with producer Raste on ‘Khatira’, a percussive collaboration with bite. One of the week’s biggest crossovers comes from Belgian-Moroccan hitmaker DYSTINCT, who joins forces with French rapper Jul on the slick ‘Princessa’.

Also featured this week are new tracks from Sudan’s Soulja, Egypt’s rising voice Mr Kordy, and punchline specialist Hussein Yasser. Rounding out the list are standout cuts from SULTAN, Valerie, Blud X Kira7, ZY MA, TEE GY, and Donia.
