Omar Khairat to Perform at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 23rd

Legendary Egyptian composer and pianist Omar Khairat is set to perform at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on May 23rd.
Few musicians have shaped modern Egyptian instrumental music as profoundly as Khairat. Known for fusing Western orchestral arrangements with Arabic melodic nuances, he has played a pivotal role in redefining film and television scoring in Egypt since the late 1970s. His expansive body of work includes soundtracks for some of the country’s most beloved films and drama series, including ‘Layali El Helmeya’, ‘El Sefara Fel Omara’, ‘Asal Eswed’, ‘Hob El Banat’, ‘El Bakhel W Ana’ and ‘El Erhaby’.
