200 Shams & 9Mor Team Up on 80s VHS-Inspired Instrumental ‘Club Edfu’

Egyptian singer, songwriter and producer 200 Shams reunite with frequent collaborator 9Mor on a joint single ‘Club Edfu’, a nostalgic instrumental that samples the hazy intro segments of 80s VHS tapes.  

Blending retro synths, ambient textures, and classic pop sensibilities with subtle shaabi-style tabla percussion and gritty kicks, the track builds into a cinematic soundscape that feels straight out of a vintage rom-com soundtrack.

Within the local electronic scene, 200 Shams managed to accumulate more than just a ‘prod by’ credit, carving out a name for himself with his signature electro-shaabi fusion, collaborating with artists from various backgrounds, releasing a multitude of EPs and scoring films.
