Speed Limit on Wadi El Natrun–El Alamein Road Raised to 120 km/h
New traffic signs have been installed as authorities urge motorists to comply with the updated speed limit.
The legal speed limit for private cars on the Wadi El Natrun–El Alamein Road has been increased from 100 km/h to 120 km/h following the completion of development works on the route.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Interior, the revised limit is intended to improve and regulate traffic flow for motorists using the road.
The ministry added that the General Directorate of Traffic, in coordination with the relevant authorities, has installed new road signs along the route indicating the updated speed limit.
The change applies exclusively to private cars, and drivers have been urged to comply with the posted speed limits to help protect lives and property.
