Saudia Unveils New Premium Economy Cabin for 2027

Saudia has unveiled a new Premium Economy cabin at World Travel Market London 2026, introducing a new class positioned between Economy and Business as part of its fleet modernisation programme.

The first Premium Economy seats are expected to enter service on newly delivered Boeing 787 aircraft in 2027. The cabin will offer up to 43 inches of seat pitch, a 15.5-inch entertainment screen, an extendable calf rest, increased privacy and additional personal storage.

Saudia plans to introduce the cabin across selected Airbus A330, Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 aircraft through a phased retrofit programme under its ‘New Saudia Experience’ initiative. The airline has not yet announced which routes will receive Premium Economy first or how tickets will be priced.

Alongside the new cabin, Saudia showcased its latest Business Class product for the Airbus A321XLR, which joined its fleet earlier in 2026. The aircraft features 24 Business Class suites with fully flat beds and direct aisle access, alongside 120 Economy Class seats.

Saudia said it is the first airline in the Middle East and Africa to operate the A321XLR, with the aircraft forming part of a broader update to its onboard products and services.
